We are ready.
The house is as cleared out as it is going to get. The basement and garage are stuffed with bins. The living room furniture is pushed to one side of the room and mostly covered in plastic.
Jeff did some last minute salvaging of a light fixture and fire alarm.
We took some last shots of the house. It was a beautiful day, the sky was blue, the crab apple in the backyard was blooming. It was perfect Mother's Day weather. After the hard work of the day, we feasted at our favorite Mexican restaurant. After the kids were in bed, Jeff and I ran around organizing the last few things before heading to bed.
Goodbye one-story house!
Workers will be ringing our doorbell at 8am.
